Take a good look at the richest of the Nouveau Riche that you can find and try to figure out in their lives how different they are from you and me. After all, there must be a reason for them to achieve their level of success and we can’t seem to see beyond the next paycheck. But my bet is that try as we may to see if they have superior intellectual skills, one in a million talents or even the look and beauty that is exceptional, chances are that they will seem all too ordinary and that we might even enjoy an edge over most of them in many of the departments that we have mentioned. So why have they all the great things that we do not have and all that wealth coming from a position that is even more dire than ours? The answer is that they have this unique skill of being able to maximize their opportunities and make sure that their time is well spent.

But trying to see if we have this skill as well, it is shocking to find that indeed, we do know a good opportunity when we see one. The problem is that we are somewhat hesitant to try these out and are afraid that in trying to get the most out of it, we may end up losing even more such as our careers, family and jobs. This is something that the Nouveau Riche have risked in taking these opportunities and have succeeded. So if you really want to be one of these Nouveau Riche, you need to forget the risk and make the most out of these opportunities, letting them lead you to where it eventually will.
